We have System Center Essentials 2010 (version 7.0.2432.1)
OS - Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1
We use http://fpdownload.adobe.com/get/flashplayer/current/licensing/win/AdobeFlashPlayerCatalog_SCUP.cab to import Adobe Flash Player updates into system center
Starting from 11.4.XXX, we are having issues to download flash player updates
Error shows on System Center Essentials:
The remote server returned an error: (403) Forbidden.
at System.Net.WebClient.DownloadFile(Uri address, String fileName)
at Microsoft.SystemCenter.Essentials.UI.Console.UpdatesSpace.Forms.ApproveUpdateForm.BackgroundWorkerApproveUpdatesDoWork(Object sender, DoWorkEventArgs e)
We don't have any problems on Reader 10.1.4 update or Acrobat 10.4.4 update
Does anybody else have similar issue? We need to determine it is Adobe issue or Microsoft issue
Any help will be great
Thank you

We found the root cause of our problem. It is our problem
I exported the Adobe Flash Player 11.4.402.278 to XML and reviewed the code. The download path of the msi (OriginUri=http://download.macromedia.com/pub/flashplayer/current/licensing/win/install_flash_player_11_plugin....) is blocked by our firewall
The path for Reader and Acrobat are different than the Flash Player. That’s why we only have issue on Flash Player
Once I white list the download path on our firewall. We were able to create the cab file and approve the package
