1. Re: Captivate 6 functionality and flash version
Anjaneai Srivastava Sep 21, 2012 9:57 AM (in response to radrave)Hi!
Captivate 6 output can be viewed on a web browser that is compatible with Flash Player 9 or higher.
So, that should not be a problem, unless you have used any custom Widget, that is created specifically for Flash Player 10 or 11, you should be able to continue with this.
Thanks,

2. Re: Captivate 6 functionality and flash version
radrave Sep 21, 2012 10:05 AM (in response to Anjaneai Srivastava)I have a developer that is claiming he experienced "playbar quirks" with a file published from captivate 6 that he was not experiencing with files produced from 5.5. He says that upgrading to the latest version solved these quirks. I'll try to get more detailed information from him, but you are telling me that there are no features or bugs that are new in 6 that will not work properly if project is published out to Flash version 10 or 10.2?

3. Re: Captivate 6 functionality and flash version
RodWard Sep 21, 2012 7:13 PM (in response to radrave)If these are projects created in a version earlier than Cp6 and then upgraded, there is a strong possibility that using components such as skins, playbars, preloaders, or widgets from earlier versions will cause issues.
So tell your developer to remove the current skin and playbar he is using and replace it with one that came with Captivate 6. See if that resolves the issue.
