    Functions

    jefflemon
      Hi,

      I want to call a service from within a function, but this doesnt seem to work:

      private function resultHandler(evt:ResultEvent):void
      {

      myservice.getOperation('userloggedin').send();

      }

      Also, is there anyway to call two methods from one myservice.getOperation('userloggedin').send();????

          Are you trying to pass the return value from "getOperation"??

          if so just add the var as a node in your service tag and bind it to the result

          then just do
          private function resultHandler(evt:ResultEvent):void
          {
          getOperation('userloggedin')
          myservice.send();

          }

              I think you are just not using the right syntax for the webservice operation.

              Calling a webservice operation form a function is a normal thing to do. The syntax depends on the wsdl.
