How are you trying to adjust the field size? Can you provide a screenshot and point out where you are trying to resize?
Also what OS/browser version are you using.

What was the issue? Was something confusing in the UI?

in the field it said It could not recognise spaces and I wanted the words
moved over to the right, I did not want to use any other characters. I
