I am wondering about this as well.
I have my eclipse already setup with spring and J2EE with the Flex Builder 3 beta. Everything works great. I have now purchased a license and would like to install or update my current plugin in my current setup.
With the beta there was a choice between standalone and plugin.
I am a third person in the same situation. I've tried starting with Flex Builder 3 standalone and installing plugins for Java development but am finding it difficult to install Spring IDE due to missing dependencies.
Is anyone able to provide details of a Flex Builder 3 Eclipse plugin?
Thanks Gaurav J. That's brilliant :)
Thanks for the link, but after I install the plugin and try to use flex builder in eclipse it tells me that the Trial period has expired. So I can't really use it anyway.
if you have installed the release build and are getting a notice about the trial having expired, you will need to remove your old license.properties file from the beta. Simply delete the file found here:
Windows: %ALLUSERSPROFILE%\Application Data\Adobe\Flex\license.properties
Mac: /Library/Application Support/Adobe/Flex/license.properties
