Ldude32, when are you getting this error?
For example, before or after you enter your e-mail address (Adobe ID) and password?
Could you share a screenshot?
When I launch edge inspect, the following window pops up:
If I close the window, and select Sign in from the Menu Bar In icon the same window pops up (after briefly displaying "Connecting").
I have no way to change/enter credentials.
Note that I've been involved in some pre-release testing for DW which I think included a cloud account (I only actually joined the cloud (for free) with my personl account yesterday). This may perhaps be related - I'm not sure how your cloud verification works.
I've now uninstalled the beta version of DW I was testing (and deactivated the test Cloud account I was assigned).
This now allows me to log into Edge properly - even though I already own CS6, I've just upgraded to the cloud just to get the extras.
