    GPU Rendering and Stage

    soremite

When I have things lined up perfectly on the stage and then test movie in ADL mobile, everything is fine.

When I check GPU rendering, everything is way too high on the stage and only the bottom shows.

      I have Flash CS6.

Any idea what is causing this?

Have you tested on a device?

I had not since there was no point in continuing like that, but I have now.

It lines up correctly, but renders very slow on my iPhone 4. I mean maybe a 1cm block per second rendering. Then it moves very slow too.

I have a top of the line new MacBook Pro Retina so there should be no performance issue with the computer side.

The app is just a test app with one screen of bubbles moving up the page. It's a tutorial I am working through. SO the problem seems to be mostly with testing the movie in the ADL

On-device testing is a must. I develop from Windows and I can't see any video in a StageWebView or from the StageVideo class haha. I'm very used to testing being limited. You'll find that more and more as you go.
