I have a document set up in InDesign with over 100 pages. The master pages have page number indicators so there should be a page number on the lower outside corner of each page.
At one point I had to shuffle the pages around, but that resulted in a number of pages now having the page number show in both the inside and outside corners of the page.
How can I get rid of the indide corner page numbers? They are not showing on the master pages. I've tried overriding the master page items for those pages but I cannot delete the page numbers. They have a light yellow box around them.
Thanks for the help!
It sounds like the pages changed sides and you had previously overridden the frames with the number markers. have you tried just selecting the the frames onthe inside page corners and deleting them?
If that doesn't work, can you show us a screen shot of the page showing the light yellow box and the layers panel also visible. I'm not sure if that's the frame edge showing on a layer whose color is yellow, or something else.
Also, check to be sure that the frame you want to delete is not locked.
Thank you so much for your reply! The document was created by someone else, so after reading your post I went into the layers and found a "Page numbers" layer. I was able to unlock that layer and delete the inside page number. Thank you so much!
