We have down loaded a trial version of In Design. When opening the program we get 2 error messages.
1. Can't find KERNEL32.dll
2. "Can't load SVG EXPORT.APLN plug-in. It is dependent on the TRANSPERANCY.RPLN plug-in which failed to load. Pleas check documentation for the TRANSPERANCY.RPLN plug-in."
I have uninstalled and reinstalled the down load and still no change.
Do you receive any error messages when installing InDesign? You can find information on how to review your installation log at Troubleshoot with install logs | CS5, CS5.5, CS6 - http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/troubleshoot-install-logs-cs5-cs5.html.
Thanks for the response. I spoke with tech support this morning and
they found the problem. The computer was running on XP Pro Service
Pack 2. I installed Service Pack 3 and that solved the problem.
