1. Re: After importing, how do I delete all the photos on my iPhone?
Lee Jay Sep 27, 2012 11:22 AM (in response to mlfix)Use the iPhone to do it. LR won't do it for you.

Jim Wilde Sep 27, 2012 11:30 AM (in response to mlfix)But as the iPhone won't let you delete them until you select them individually, you might find it easier whilst the iPhone is connected to your computer to use the computer's file manager (Finder or Explorer) to do it.

mlfix Sep 27, 2012 11:44 AM (in response to Jim Wilde)How would I get the iphone's photos to show up without using iTunes?
I was hoping LR would be able to delete like Aperture but can understand why it won't of course.
Is there a way to bypass deleting each photo manually on the phone itself?

On Windows the iPhone shows up just like any other device (disk, media card, etc) and can thus be managed in the same way using Windows Explorer....the Camera Roll appears just like a Folder, so all contents can be mutli-selected and deleted in one go. I would have thought the same would apply with Finder.
You don't have to delete the photos one by one on the iPhone, but you do have to select them one by one as there is no multi-select capability on the iPhone as there is in Finder/Explorer. Once selected, however, all can be deleted with one delete command.

marryaron Nov 27, 2013 2:06 AM (in response to mlfix)Any professional recovery tool can retrieve those encrypted photos easily. So, there is any effective way to permanently erase some unwanted photos from your iPhone.
The most secure way is using professional third-party software like iPhone Data Eraser, which is a reliable and effective tool to smash photos and other personal data.
