Jon Fritz II Sep 28, 2012 6:11 AM (in response to heyconnormcintosh)DW 5.5 had this problem in XP. It's possible that the fix for 5.5 could help you here:

Basically they tell you to download Service Pack 3 for XP.

3. Re: I Need Some Help With My Dreamweaver
Jon Fritz II Sep 28, 2012 6:21 AM (in response to heyconnormcintosh)No.
Service Pack 3 just updates your OS. All of your files, folders and programs will still be there.
You will start running into more problems like this the longer you stick with XP though. That particular OS is over 11 years old, service pack 3 hs been out for over 4 years.
It may be time for a system upgrade. I personally went from XP to Windows 7 and I haven't looked back one bit.

5. Re: I Need Some Help With My Dreamweaver
Jon Fritz II Sep 28, 2012 6:49 AM (in response to heyconnormcintosh)You need to visit the link in my previous post, it will take you to the Microsoft Download Center. Follow the link in the top right to the Service Pack Center and follow the instructions there.
Or you could use the windows updater built into your computer. I'm sure you've been annoyed by all of the Security Updates Microsoft sends out near daily. SP3 should be one of the download options when that prompt comes up.
