It's not possible to suppress the interactive dialog box for selecting the printer as of now.
Oops... Is there any workaround which will help me achieve this functionality as this is very critical for me. My app. is an interactive kiosk which requires that a receipt be printed to the set default printer without any user interaction.
I hit this road block at the end of the development stage as I had assumed the existence of this option.
Any help / pointers will be really helpful.
Try autohotkey.com for a workaround (on Windows).
Thank you very much for the pointer. I've installed it & finding my way around in using it.
Got it working :-)
1. Download & install AutoHotkey
2. Put the below code in the script file
SetTimer, Timer, 200
3. Run the script
Further on, anytime the Print dialog box is shown, an ENTER event is auto-fired & the printing is completed without user interaction.
Hope this helps someone.
Sorry I didn't provide the script source as well, might have saved you some time.
Though your script works fine, I think this is the usual way of intercepting the print dialog window (got it from the manual I think)
I apologize for bumping the post but I would like to know if there is any solution for OSX?
