I am using Mac OS X Mountain Lion 10.8.2 (MacBook Pro)
Processor: 2.66 GHz Intel Core i7
Memory: 8GB 1067 MHz DDR3
Graphics: Intel HD Graphics 288 MB and NVIDIA GeForce GT 330M (512MB) gMux Version 1.9.21
And of course, Adobe Master Collection CS6

No that wasn't it. I still get the same "No Video Playback" in Premiere. Interestingly enough, when I logged into my Guest Account just to see, everything worked fine, even with the Auto Graphic Switch still engaged. So clearly, it has something to do with my main account. Thoughts?
Also, I empty my trash bin before I restart and each time I re-enter the OS, the Trash is full. It shows a recovered file with a .prmdc extension. No idea what that is...

No worries. Thanks for even stepping me in that direction. I'll do some more research and see what I can find. It may be as simple as just reinstalling the software.

Those didn't work, so I just wound up uninstalling all of the video programs in CS6 and reinstalling them. That worked. For the life of me though, I have no idea what was causing the issue.

I have the same issue. On a 2010 MacBook Pro (17"), with OS X 10.8.2, same RAM and video, and same i7, etc. Looks like we have the same computer.
I have been unable to get any playback in Prem Pro 6.0 and 6.02. No audio or video. I can scroll through a video (no sound though) manually, and it's all there rendering. But no normal playback.
I have tried removing everything I can find related to Master Suite, Premiere, and plugins for AE and Premiere. To no avail.
Are you able to describe how you went about your uninstall and install for me? Perhaps there is something I am missing. You've the first person I have found onlin with the same issue (and, what's more, the same computer and OS).
