    Adobe AIR readLine()

      How can one read in a CSV or tab delimited file into AIR line by line? Ive seen code that loads the entire file into memory. I have some rather large csv files and I rather have a way to read line by line in a text file.

      is there an easy way to do this? Similar to readLine() in java?

          Although there is no read-line primitive, you can read a file incrementally via the FileStream API and break it up into lines piece-by-piece. For large files, I recommend open the file for asynchronous reading and then driving the parsing off of the progress events.
