My bad, i'll try to explain again my issue and be as accurate and detailed as possible... I have an HP workstation laptop with Intel Core i7 - 2720QM 2.19ghz processor, 8 gb RAM, Graphics Nvidia Quasdro 1000M i am currently running on windows 7(64bit) Enterprise with Service Pack 1, i recently upgraded the OS (before i was running on win7 32bit) and i was using the 32bit Premiere CS4 and Adobe Media Enconder 4 as well, i usually export short videos that i edit with pictures, clips and effects and i export them on format H.264 preset: NTSC DV widescreen High quality... with Premiere 4 and AME 4 a 1min video used to take around 5 minutes, this time with Adobe Premiere CS5.5 it took almost 50 minutes to encode a 1 minute video, i checked all the settings : NTSC 720x480 29.97fps Lowe, ACC, 192kbps, 48khz, stereo, VBR, 1 pass, Target 3.00, Max 6.00Mbps, options boxes: Use Maximum Render Quality, Use Previews, Use Frame Blending were unchecked (i read on another post in this blog that have checked the Use Maximun Render Quality option could considerably slow the encoding process) that is the reason why i am seeking for help... hope this is thorough enough to get help and that someone has solves a similar issue

            thanks so much in advance
