when i double click my mxp file to load into extension manager i'm getting a "can't create folder" error message after accepting the terms.
i'm on a mac with lion 10.7.5, trying to load extension to adobe photoshop cs4.
actual error message says:
Can't create folder 'Macintosh HD:Applications:Adobe Photoshop CS4:Plug-ins:Panels'.
can't seem to find any other mac users with this problem and window user tips aren't particularly helpful.
i'd appreciate some advice.
the problem is that i have no idea how to do that. and in your form link that deals with cs5.5
any way to make that happen for cs4?
you're gonna have to really dumb it down for me apologies!
1. Click Launchpad in Dockbar then click Utilities, then click Terminal, the Terminal window will open.
2. input the following and press "return" key:
sudo "/Applications/Adobe Extension Manager CS4/Adobe Extension Manager CS4.app/Contents/MacOS/Adobe Extension Manager CS4"
3. input your admin password then press "return" key.
4. Extension Manager CS4 will be launched.
