You need to go to the File>Document Setup and choose Facing Pages.
In the Pages Panel you will see 2 pages for Master Pages - on the left hand page insert the page number aligned left. And the right hand page insert the page number so it's right aligned.
Thanks a lot but Im afaid i wasnt clear, its not a matter of aligneing but the order direction of the pages. I need to create a book which direction of text is right to left and so sould be the pages order.. The numbering needs to go from right to left.
Do you have the Middle East or North Africa version of InDesign? If not, check out World Tools at In-Tools.com
Ill do that
Thanks a lot!
In an Arabic style, Right-to-Left book, the page numbered '1' should be on the left page in your spread, and the page numbered '2' on the right side. What you describe is for Roman style, Left-to-Right.
Also, typically, you'd never see both page 1 and page 2 on the same spread.
