1. Re: Do you think iPhone 5 app approvals are bottlenecked or sped up? Anyone get their AIR app through?
Colin Holgate Oct 5, 2012 10:42 AM (in response to FLAdude)I heard one report of someone getting their iPhone 5 app update approved in five days, which is three days quicker than normal. My app that I submitted last Sunday is still showing as Waiting for Review.

Mark.fromOP Oct 5, 2012 3:16 PM (in response to Colin Holgate)I just had an app approved 2 days ago, and it was submitted on a monday a week before that, so seems about average. It was built with the new Default-568h@2x.png included which according to Colin ^^^ makes the app iPhone 5 compatible, but I am not able to test it as I am waiting on the long backorder list. If anyone has an iPhone 5 and wants to download it for me to test I will gladly provide you with a promo code.

gtr Oct 7, 2012 2:02 PM (in response to Mark.fromOP)I don't really want to upgrade my 4S yet, so I'm thinking of just getting a new iPod Touch (same screen resolution). Anybody have thoughts about this route? (vs. getting an iPhone 5)
PS. For development. I will seek out a friend with the iP5 to test, just to be sure, before launch...

Colin Holgate Oct 7, 2012 2:08 PM (in response to gtr)I'm sure that anything you do to make the iPod work will apply to the iPhone too.
The app I submitted last Sunday still shows as waiting for review. Hopefully it will go through in the typical eight days.
