I am using a Macbook pro with Mountian Lion. I got a free trial of the Adobe CS6 Master Collection, and then bought Prodution Premium Creative Suite 6 (Master Collection) online to have the discs shipped to my house. My discs arrived the day before my trial was to expire and i installed them with no problem and used the serial number to register them online with no problems.
The next day I went to open up InDesign and it told me my trial was over, so I clicked "License This Software" and tried my serial number again. This time it tells me it is "invalid". The only product that now opens is Photoshop. I can't even get to the installation instructions on my disc anymore because its a PDF and my trial is gone.
How can I open the applications I purchased and registered online instead of the expired trial?
Well technically you actually didn't need to reinstall the software, just enter the serial number from your purchased box would have done it.
But anyway, only Adobe has the power to sort out serial number licensing issues, so with this type of issue you'd need to contact their customer service in your area.
