I'm meeting with some resistance at work over Flex and Flash
RIAs since they are all on one page and therefore "cut down on the
number of page-views". Obviously, they want to maximize pages
viewed for advertising revenue, but forcing so many reloads when an
RIA is a better user experience seems silly to me.
Therefore, is there a way to load additional ads (or another
equivalent of a page-view) as the user moves within sections of a
Flex RIA? How? We use an ad-server and Hitbox code to track views
on HTML pages.
Has anyone run into this issue (I would think it's common
these days)? How do you all handle it?
