This is BS. Adobe should have fixed it by now. I have no problems with anything else. This is dumb.
Nothing here says to install the latest Adobe Air Application .. which worked.

This is ridiculous! I've wasted a whole day trying to update Adobe Muse with the same error as above no matter what steps I took. I'm going back to something NON Adobe!
I've just wasted half the day trying to reinstall Muse AGAIN! WHY oh WHY are adobe installers SO INCREDIBLY BAD! Adobe Applications Manager downloaded a new version for me. Told me it installed successfully and invited me to open it. Nothing happened. Turns out it just deleted it and Muse is now nowhere on my system. Restart the stupid Applications Manager and it says, "Up to date" and won't allow me to try to install again. GRRRRRR!
EVERY time I have to update something by adobe, I end up in the same nightmare, on all my machines (so it's obviously not the machines at fault). Everyone other software company; it's never a problem!
I LOVE Muse, but definitely DON'T love Adobe installation madness!
I'm having the same problem. I download Muse, the Applications Manager says Muse is downloaded. I don't get any error message, but when I look for Muse to open it, it's nowhere on my computer. Just like marcharrington, my App Manager says Muse is up to date and it won't let me reinstall. I've done this three times now, same result every time.
We are aware of the inconsistencies leading to Muse's install status not correctly reporting in the CC Manager due to Muse being an Air app. Please refer to the following thread for more information about this - http://forums.adobe.com/thread/1253307.
