this means that you are looking in the root of your server for a folder "education", perhaps you mean to use
is the image file uploaded?
1. thanks for the help but absolutely, the files are uploaded, as I see them with my webhosting control panel AND in dreamweaver (remote site).
I also tried using absolutely path rather than the relative path shown as in loadMovie(" http://www.mydomain.com/education/regents_quest/regents_images/imageneeded.jpg", "pictoreplace");
2. I also tried using loadMovienum(" http://www.mydomain.com/education/regents_quest/regents_images/imageneeded.jpg", 1);

This should work:
container._x = 100;
container._y = 100;
My note: This DIDN'T work on my website.
4. I had other pictures load fine in other parts of my website in a different SWF.
