What I can I do to adjust the line spacing of the text?

      Help description is as follows.

Set the spacing between lines of text

      1. If necessary, double-click the title in the Expert view timeline to open it in the Monitor panel.
      2. In the Monitor panel, do one of the following:
        • To adjust the space between all lines of text, select the text object.
        • To adjust the space between two lines, set the insertion point anywhere in the second line.

What do I do I do after this?

Premiere Elements doesn't have tools to adjust the leading between lines of text (regardless of what it says in the Help).

If you need to adjust the leading (the space between lines of text) you'll need to do it in a backgroundless file in Photoshop Elements and then import it as a PSD graphic into Premiere Elements.

Or, much simpler, try another font. Some fonts have naturally tighter leading than other fonts.
