Video renders "offline,"; black video in project, and general issues.
Brittanyls Oct 8, 2012 2:23 PMHi, I've been having a problem from the beginning of this project until now, and I am in dire need of help.
My project consists of WMV files (converted from MTS format) and WAV format audio. It is about 6 minutes long. Ever since I began this project, I have been having problems with the video turning black in the preview. I would not be able to watch my project; I would only be able to hear the audio and see a black screen. I got around this by closing out Premiere and restarting it. However, this solution was only temporary, and I would have to restart it often.
I then began to have a problem importing video. I would get error notifications stating something along the lines of "The framesize is too big." Once again, restarting Premiere fixed the issue.
Now that I have finished my project, I have run into more problems. Everytime I try to render it out in AME, I get the error message, "Error compiling video. Unknown error." I tried putting the video into a new sequence to no avail. I then tried to render out only part of the sequence. The video came out like this:
When I had used Premiere on my desktop computer, I remember that I had once run into a major issue- I could not use MTS files. They would turn my video green. I remedied this problem by converting the video to another format. On my new laptop, I did not want to run into this problem again. So, I had tried to convert them into MPEG2 format using AME. However, when converted, the video skipped and did not work, so I had to use a different converter. I used it to convert the files to WMV.
Any advice will be appreciated!
NOTE: I don't have the CD with me so I can't uninstall/reinstall.
