Hello again all!
I've been transfixed with this effect since I saw it on an adversitement and I'd quite like to try it for an Anniversary video I'm making for the Wife...
For reference, here's two links:-
It would essentially appear to be a suggestion of projecting a series of videos onto panning shots of buildings etc but I cant imagine its simply the case of automating
opacity and that. How could I map the overlayed/ projected video to the dimensions of the buildings so that it would appear as a real projection? I've yet to use After Effects,
but if it requires that (I can imagine it does...) then if any advice or links could be provided I'd be most grateful and smiley.
Thanks again you wonderful people!
I know I have seen tutorials on this, but it was years ago.
These people are AE gurus.
After you get the image projecting onto the building, I imagine that trying different blending modes might find you what you are looking for.
It is entirely possible that some of this is done live. Actual projection mapped to the building in the projector.
I have seen it live..but also seen it filmed using this technology. ( Will try and link it for you)
We explored it for a client once but costs were prohibitive in that instance. (plus some issues of "trespass and "trading off")
