Colour setting between AI and PS

    ottz0 Level 1

I have a graphic that is

      C 100

      M 100

      Y 100

      K 100

When I move this over to Photoshop it converts it to a smart object and gives the colour a profile of

      C 75

      M 68

      Y 67

      K 90

I cannot see when I have gone wrong in my colour setup. Can anyone help

      Thanks

You don't provide nearly or remotely enough information for anyone to begin to help.

Macintosh or Windows?  What EXACT version of the OS?  What exact versions of Ps and AI?

What is your working color space in each of the applications?

What is the color profile of each document?  What color engine are you set to in each application?

Can you explain why you are working in CMYK?

Can you provide screen shots of your color settings, panels, etc.?

Nothing at all is wrong. C75 M68 Y67 K90 is called Photoshop black = RGB 000.  If I create a CMYK doc in AI CS6 with all values set to 100% and drop it into Photoshop CS6, it will be adjusted exactly to those numbers. You'll have to read up on this topic for the particulars.
