Can you provide URL so we can see it?
Without seeing the actual page, we can only guess at the reason.
Two likely causes:
- You didn't upload the style sheet to the remote server.
- You didn't define a site in Dreamweaver, so the link to the style sheet is pointing to a location on your hard disk.
If those suggestions don't solve your problem, post a URL so others can see the page.
the url is http://www.customtouchhomes.com/new/ . i dont have the server, i re did the website on my computer and set it over to the other person who did the website in the first place. my job was to redo the layout and send it over to him so that he could uploud it to the Custom Touch website. it looks fine on my computer but his is all messed up, is it because he doesn't have the template on his computer?
Your .css link is not pointing to a .css file online.
It looks like you and your co-worker are using different directory structures for the online site and the local copies.
It's because the style sheet can't be found. In the <head> of the page, the style sheet is attached like this:
<link href="../../Documents/Site/default.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" />
That's a relative link that has been created by the way you set up the site definition in Dreamweaver. The file is actually in the same folder, so the link needs to be changed to this:
<link href="default.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" />
