    video not playing in safari or IE9

      I created an edge animation with a video. You'll see the code below. This has worked on all browsers in the past but for some reason I am running into issues with my video running. The code below is from my edge file that is designed to run the video and when the video ends (or when the user clicks skip) run a quick animation. The animation is running fine, the problem is with the video. On safari the screen just sits there displaying the thumbnail image for the video (not the video itself) and the video never runs. In IE, I get a little red x in the middle of the stage for the video. The video is running fine in FireFox and Chrome.

      sym.stop();

      // original video play code starts here

      // create a text object called vid;

      var vid = $("<video width='524' height='368' controls='none' autoplay='autoplay'>" +

         "<source src='video/El-home.mp4' type='video/mp4' />" +

         "<source src='video/El-home.webm' type='video/webm' />" +

         "<source src='video/El-home.ogv' type='video/ogg' />" +

         "This browser is not compatible with HTML 5" +

      "</video>"

      );

      // stage symbol lookup, and append the above vid object to it;

      // in other words, get the div called 'vcontainer' and attach the video control to it;

      sym.$("landingContent3").append(vid);

      // additional options for the video object

      vid.attr('autoplay','autoplay');

      vid.attr('preload','auto');

      // End original code

      // this is the insert for the action after the video ends

      // sym.play("afterVideo");

      $(vid).bind("ended", function () {

          sym.play("afterVideo");

      });

      // this ends the after video ends insert

      Any thoughts?
