Elements is geared towards consumers, Pro towards professionals. It's not uncommon for consumer software to handle non-standard video files better than professional software.

Quite true! I used to do some mpeg editing in Elements before Pro could handle it properly.

So, it's my first time using MediaInfo. Here's a screen shot of the codec details (I think).
Would love to know what you all think. Really would like beginner steps for downloading whatever I need to get Pro to recognize this file.
