This is my first post and I'm relatively new to InDesign
(as I'm sure you'll be able to tell). I've found this forum in particular to be incredibly helpful so far - so thank you in advance for helping me learn!
Here's my scenario: I'm building templates for products that can be customized online (screenshot: http://www.diigo.com/item/image/2rdmh/bu6q?size=o). These products have a front and a back (page 1 and page 2)
Input: InDesign file with 92 separate pages (46 products, front and back)
Desired output: 46 .indd files (2 pages each *ideally separate pages and not not a spread of 2 pages*)
Current solution: Badia Exportools Standard
1) Open each file (92 separate pages)
2) Arrange every set of 2 pages (ex. pages 1 and 2, 3 and 4, paired) in to 2 page spreads in the Page Panel (time intensive)
3) Use Badia Exportools to separate files "by spread" (output is the 46 "paired" pages as required, but of course they're in spreads)
4) Open each file and "break" each spread back in to separate pages
I've searched for a better solution, but this is what I came up with. Please let me know if you think I should re-vector my efforts, thanks again.
