'File Format not found' when Project opened up different laptop

      Hi,
I'm switching laptops half way though editing some video as my current laptop (vista 2gb RAM) is struggling with my copy of CS3. The new machine is windows 7 (i5) and has more power.
I have all the files on a separate hard drive, so the location of the files has not changed, but when I plug it into the new machine and fire the programme up, Premiere says it doesn't recognise the file format. This happens between clicking on the project folder in the welcome screen, and the project window displaying, and is presented in the form of a kind of 'search/replace' dialogue box.
These video clips have been taken on a Canon 600d (T3i), converted through Streamclip using Avids DNxHD codec. I've installed the Avid codec on the Windows 7 machine but the same thing comes up. The file icons show a refresh symbol on a document background.
All the files in their edited positions can by clearly seen when the programme opens up.
Do I need to manually insert the codec into a specific file in Premiere?
      Help. Thanks, Peter
