In my Comp I have 30 psd photo layers all in 4 second sequences.
To create a slideshow I overlapped the sequences at 20 frames.
All the layers were pushed into time.
I am unable to zoom out though I used the shortcut -and then attempted to zoom out from view/ zoom out.
If I play the sequences the first image plays dissolving into the second image and then returns to the beginning of the first image looping.
I cannot play the sequence through the timeline to the last image.
All the layers are there - I am unable get locate the last layer in the work area.
I am now unable to manage the work area.
On the learning curve, thanks.
Did you use Sequence Layers in the Keyframe Assistant? You can create transitions for many clips very easily that way, but it won't alter the length of your composition so your clips will often get moved outside of the comp area. In your case it sounds like you just need to adjust your composition duration so you can fit all your clips inside it. To do that right click your composition in the project panel and go to composition settings. Then change the duration to match the length of all your photos. You can calculate it or you can just set it for a couple minutes and then change your workspace to match the length of the footage you're working with...
