One can view the TimeCode, and use that with an SMPT calculator, after setting the FPS in it. One can also use the WAB (Work Area Bar) to gather Duration info, of a Clip.
One can also open the Info Window.
The "info" from the selected Clip will be displayed .
It will tell you frames if less than a certain length - 1 second ( I think).
Seconds /frames is kind of the way things measure with film work. So ..calulator it is.,
Dang, thought that I had mentioned the Info Panel, but must have been in another thread... DUH! (on my part).
Thanks for the mention,
Do you mean a source clip or a clip in your sequence?
for a clip in your sequence:
- Mark your clip in the timeline with in and out points (i,o on your keyboard)
- right-click the I/O Duration on the right underneath your program monitor and choose "frames" - (it will also show up in the info-window, when you have chosen to display frames and simply select the clip.
for a source clip in your project window simply right-click on the info and select "frames" :
("Videodauer" is just german for Video Duration, make sure you have it shown in your metadata )
...and keep smiling.
