1. Re: Button Scripts for Sharing on Social Media
martcol Oct 25, 2012 12:44 AM (in response to FormUser)You should maybe Google this. There are heaps out there some of which are easy to implement with a bit of cutting and pasting. Try Sharethis as one option.

2. Re: Button Scripts for Sharing on Social Media
FormUser Oct 28, 2012 7:02 AM (in response to martcol)I found button scripts right here in the Adobe Developer Connection Cookbooks http://cookbooks.adobe.com/post_Simple_social_networking_share_buttons-19482.html
However, there is a bug: Google Chrome displays a LinkedIn pop up with an editable field. I tried to report the bug in a comment to the article, but I got a 'server communication error' message.
Anyone knows how to report the bug, or fix the bug?

Sudarshan Thiagarajan Oct 28, 2012 7:25 AM (in response to FormUser)It seems like the Cookbook article you have posted is inactive - in terms of comments as well as updates.
You should try martcol's advice. Or you can also try www.addthis.com - My personal favorite.
If you want to break the 'monotony' of normal looking share buttons and add a nice sticky footer taskbar kind of a sharer, try www.wibiya.com - I use it for a lot of my clients and they've all +1'd it.

4. Re: Button Scripts for Sharing on Social Media
FormUser Nov 12, 2012 12:37 PM (in response to FormUser)Thanks for the suggestions, but all social sharing codes point back at the supplier of the code, for doing analytics and the like.
I am looking for social sharing code that does NOT point to any supplier of the code, I don't need any analytics.
Just simple social sharing code, anyone?
