1. Re: How to adjust selection after using polygonal lasso tool?
R_Kelly Oct 25, 2012 8:45 PM (in response to junior166)You might find it easier to use a layer mask instead of delete when your finished with the selection.
That is complete the selection with the polygonal lasso tool then press the Add a Mask icon at the bottom of the layers panel.
Then you can paint on the layer mask with the brush tool to add or subtract from the masked areas.
Another way is to switch to the Selection Bruish Tool after using the polygonal lasso tool and add or subtract from your selection.

3. Re: How to adjust selection after using polygonal lasso tool?
Mark Sand Oct 26, 2012 4:35 AM (in response to junior166)I often use the regular Lasso tool to modify a selection that I have made with any of the selection tools. Hold down Shift to add to the selection, hold down Alt to substract from the selection.
Also, it is a good idea to save your original selection so that you can reload it in case you screw up your changes. Then when you are happy with the result you can replace the saved selection.
