I want to delete all the empty frames in the indesign (basically any small frames mistakenly added by the user) in the document. These frames can be graphic frames, text frames or any unassigned frames.
My below script only deletes the text frames in the document. However, it cannot locate any graphics frame or any unassigned frames.
tell application "Adobe InDesign CS4"
tell active document
delete (every text frame whose contents is "")
Please suggest if we can edit/modify this script so that it deletes all the types of empty frames.
Thanks for your help and suggestion!
Use rectangle instead of text frames.
But be aware, contents available only in textframes. rectangles doesn't have that property. you have to check for child obj of the rectangle.
okay.. thanks for your note....
