We're just beginners but here's an idea: are you sure you checked both Web and Animate Deployment Package in the Publish Settings dialog in Edge Animate?
Another trick is... it's tricky to keep track of where the .oam file gets saved, so check its path and date/time to be sure you're pointing a the right file, and that it still exists.
Also, what is your particular workflow? Have you succeeded with it before? We have good luck with Adobe Muse as a starting point.
Hey Eric, it looks like you've fixed the problem. This is working on my end, are you still seeing issues?
Yes, i have solve this issue thanks to Daniel Hanly, he has posted on his web a guide to publish and export edge animations to web, http://www.danielhanly.com/blog/tutorial/adobe-edge-embedding-animations-page/ it is a very good explanation, however i coulndt put working my animtion with a diferent url that wasnt the root previously defined on edge.
In first place my idea was to create a custom wordpress theme and use this edge animations/pages as wordpress pages, but finally i have simply upload my files to the web root, i was trying to combine edge and wordpress but this didnt work for me.
I have to say that i am not really a hard coder, and edge isnt designed for the prupose i am using it, but for designer like me, that dont have a big konwledge about coding and developing, would be great a tool that can proovide something similar to flash on html5.
i know how to code on html, and css standards, but when a client want complex animations, this need some php or jquery coding...and i am not skilled on it.
The big deal here is the archives path, that are defined on the preloader.js and the others js, when you put the edge animation on a diferent path from the adobe edge animation root, i simply doesnt work, and i hadnt the javascryp coding knowledges to change it.
But finally yes i get something, srry for me english, i am native spanish speaker.
Other problem is the slow load of the .js files, what a pain....Do you know how to speed up the js. load time? i dont know why this tiny 10k and 4k files are so slow to load....
Sorry to ask, but did you give the wordpress plugin (Edge Suite) I wrote a shot? http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/edge-suite/ It basically does all the path adjusting for you and places all the sources in a neat subfolder ;-) If you run into any problems with the plugin just open up an issue on wordpress and I'll try to help you.
