Is it my imagination of has Photoshop's Brighten/Contrast function weakened substantially? The Brighten/Darken part works as it always has, but the Contrast part does virtually NOTHING. As a matter of fact, I've noticed it actually KILLS any contrast my art has. And "Curves" doesn't fair any better! Am I doing something wrong? I just got a recent bersion of PS and my last version was 10 years old, so maybe the Contrast has been like this for years. I may have to go on my old Power Mac and use my old PS for Contrasting. Is there a more effective way to contrast my pencil art?
Thanks very much for any help.
For Brightness & Contrast, you might want the Legacy mode (stronger, more destructive effect).
But Curves hasn't changed - so there you're probably doing something wrong.
You COMPLETELY nailed it sir. Much, much thanks!
