1. Re: How to print odd sized PDF files
gener7 Oct 28, 2012 3:27 PM (in response to sterrytoon)Off the top of my head, I would suggest running the File > Print command and choosing Adobe PDF as your printer. Select or create a separate folder to save them in. File > Print should not only split the file into 8.5 x 11 pages, but the Fit or Shrink pages option should scale oversized documents to that page size.
If the saved PDF pages meet your criteria, then you can delete the odd size PDFs.

sterrytoon Oct 28, 2012 4:55 PM (in response to gener7)I did try that, but it reduced the 8 x 38 inch long email to such a tiny width to get the length to fit on one page that the text is illegible. It tried to keep the email as one page instead of keeping the width and splitting the length among multi pages.

3. Re: How to print odd sized PDF files
sterrytoon Oct 28, 2012 4:57 PM (in response to gener7)when I tried to print to Adobe PDF without selecting Fit or Shrink, it only prints what will fit on one page of 8.5 x 11 paper, then doesn't print the entire rest of the email. I am able to save the long one page emails as html files, then open and print those files to Adobe PDF and it does convert to a multipage email on 8 1/2 by 11 pages with nice margins and full size print. But I can't figure out how to do this for thousands of emails.

4. Re: How to print odd sized PDF files
gener7 Oct 28, 2012 7:25 PM (in response to sterrytoon)Well, the ability to convert the pdf to html and then to PDF is a worthy solution.
10,000 emails would require a batch convert solution.
This is very much beyond what I know. I'll have to leave this to better minds.
I could suggest a third party tool. Have a look at this:

Other than that,I can't think of anything else.
