I use twhirl, which is an air based app. The old version
works fine. I went to upgrade and get error #0. I tried to
uninstall and got same error.
At this point I thought it may be Air itself. I tried to
reinstall over my current install and it says that the version is
already installed. I then tried to uninstall air from add/remove
programs and get the following error:
An error occurred while uninstalling Adobe AIR.

This is on my home windows xp professional computer. I am the
only user on this computer and have adminstrative access. I have
tried starting up in safe mode and neither as my account or the
"real" account could I uninstall air. I have S3E from the example
code and that still runs fine. Is there a way to manually remove
Did some more digging around and found the sollution. I was
able to narrow the problem application to "LVPrcSrv.exe". Quick
search revealed that this is a process used by my logitech web cam.
Ending that single process allows all forms of air installations
(both adobe air itself, and applications) to work fine. I only need
to end the process for installs. Air applications will run fine
with that process running.
