    Illustrator Image Trace uses/enhancement discussion

Here, we discuss things we wish Image Trace could do better. Don't get me wrong, image trace is great, but in my experience, I tend to use it to trace geometric logos and such rather than actual photographic images. That being said, I wish I could tell Image Trace to only use 90 degree lines and geometric shapes or tell it to only use right angles, etc. So, fellow Illustrator users, what image trace changes would make your life easier?

More details about myself: I normally work in Photoshop, and I don't use illustrator very often. Normally, when I do use illustrator, its to take a client's bitmap logo or something of that sort, and make it a vector so I can scale it and use it in other contexts. Or maybe I'll have to take a logo that's been redrawn in low resolution in Paint, retro gaming style, and make it big enough to fill up a 30' poster. Some examples of originals:

so for me, one thing I would love is to be able to tell Illustrator to only use right angles, or stick to perfect circles and curves. The only way I was able to accomplish res-ing up these examples was to use the line tool and trace the shapes, then join them and use the compound path tool.

So, to reiterate my previous question: What features or additions/changes would you want in Illustrator's image trace feature?
