After you entered the serial number did the installation proceed smoothly? Please provide more details on you mean by still see the watermark.
Thank you for the response Nikhil. The watermark went away after I restarted
my computer. I am having trouble exporting an edited .avi clip that I
brightened. Thought this should be a simple thing, but it's turning out to
be a huge project. Any thoughts?

What model of camcorder is your original video coming from and what format and resolution is it?
