What version of Acrobat do you have installed?
Do you have this problem with all documents, or just a select few?
Where on your system are these PDF files being opened from?

Acrobat 9.5.2 (PC Version)
50% of documents have this problem
I usually save files to, and work from a desktop folder: C:\temp\PDF Folder\job folder, but also sometimes from the server.
I should point out that this seems to be happening to just one operator who is part of a much larger team!
I guess this one i put down to operator overexcitement?

Has your operator updated to 9.5.3? If you can open the properties of these files without issue on another computer, I'd suggest running a repair of Acrobat on the user's machine via Help > Repair Acrobat Installation.
Thanks David, I noticed the update this morning and have asked the operator to try it.
It does seem to be just the one machine so I will check that the repair was done with our IT on Monday.

Just wanted to let you know that our IT tried to do the 'repair Acrobat installation' as discussed. Once finished the following message appeared when trying to launch Acrobat.
All of adobe programs (Illustrator CS2, Photoshop CS4 and Acrobat 9) ceased to work and have to be reinstalled!
IT are not happy!
