As you registered it I believe the details should be available to you online using the account with which you registered.

          Cheers,

            Many thanks for this

It looks like I have version 7.

Can I download the software from anywhere?

Is there a path to upgrade to the latest version?

              Maybe to download... http://forums.adobe.com/thread/1023689

Since PreElements is low cost, Adobe does not really have an "upgrade path"

The current version is 11 and Amazon is a good place to buy

During the production run of a version of PrE, Adobe usually offers "replacement discs," for a nominal price, but when that production run ends, they do not offer such replacement discs any longer.

With downloads, a buyer usually has access to their download link, past the production run.

At some point (cannot recall if this came about with PrE 7, or PrE 8?), the trial version could be "converted" to the "full-paid" version, by just typing in their S/N. If that was initiated in PrE 7, then one could check with a site, like ProDesignTools, download the trial, install it, then upgrade that to the full-paid version, with just the S/N.

As John T. points out, Adobe does not usually discount an "upgrade," that much, if at all. Often, there are actually better prices from certified resellers, like Amazon, CDW, etc.. Some have complained about being able to buy the full version for less than Adobe offers an upgrade, but to me, low price is low price, regardless of what it is called. Just make sure that you buy ANY copy of PrE from a certified reseller, and NOT from any individual on eBay, or through an Amazon 3rd party reseller, as those will likely be counterfeit, and probably cannot be registered, or even run properly.

                Good luck,

The link for v7 in All the links for PRE 9, 8 and 7 still works. You will need your serial number though.
