Nvidia Quadro K5000 for Mac Pro

      Hey all,

Has anyone bought one and put it through some testing in Premire Pro or After Effects yet?

      Pro's or Con's?

      Do tell...

Well with 1536 Cuda cores it could finally be considered a contender for decent CUDA acceleration of the MPE code in Premiere, the first Quadro that would do what the GTX boards have been doing all along.  So if you need Quadro's other features like 10-bit color output for your 10-bit monitor and can afford the $1800 it may be useful.  As far as being able to install in a Mac, that is a whole different question.

We have 85 records (out of a total of 1072 current entries) of Quadro cards tested in our Windows machines Premiere Pro BenchMark (PPBM5) web site, but no K5000 yet.
