    metadata template

    ycardozo Level 1

A friend asked me how to create a base template for metadata information (file/info/description). The basic info is my name, address, copywrite, etc.  I had created this on a previous version of photoshop and was able to migrate it to PS6. However, in trying to answer his question, I have lost my own template. I have no idea how to recreate this. I am not even sure what to call this so that I can look it up.

If you open Bridge then click Tools/Create Metadata Template.

          Hope this helps.

Believe it or not, I messed around and figured it out tho using a different method. I plugged the information into file/info/description (and whatever other tabs needed info)  and exported that work to the template folder, then saved it as a template. Someone once told me there are half a dozen ways (or more) to achieve the exact same thing in photoshop. At any rate, all is well and I've passed both methods on to the friend who needed it. Thks for answering so quickly. You guys rule
