    find/replace help

    creusche

      Hello all,

I am wondering if there is a quicker way to rearrange my references in brackets to go after the parenthesis instead of before. I have a document where these were all done incorrectly.

The definition  answer is conditional text and will be hidden in another document, however the only solution I can think of is to manually cut and paste. Is there a find/replace trick I can use?

Or am I stuck doing this manually....for about 300 + pages.

      Example:

Need to change the bracket to go after the sentence...instead of before the definition:

      From this:

… Madame Defarge knew enough of its antecedents to know better … [2.16] (a preceding event, condition, or cause)

      To this:

… Madame Defarge knew enough of its antecedents to know better … (a preceding event, condition, or cause) [2.16]

      What the document looks like:

      Untitled-1.jpg

      Thanks for any help!
