I have created InDesign table styles, so now I can easily import excel tables or copy-paste tables from the net to my document and create automated and standardized table-layout. No problem.
For some of my tables (results from sports) I want the second column to be very long. I can manually drag the column long, but it would be much easier, if I could use table-shapes (don't know if it is the correct word) like I use article-shapes from a library. Is that possible?
This could not be done with Table styles or Cell styles, these are used to customize the look of the Table rather then it's width and height.
It could be scripted I think, to which you can assign a keyboard shortcut to make it quick.
Just to get it startet.
Do You know of any scripts dealing with tables - with and lenght?
