liamcampbell Nov 19, 2013 8:40 PM (in response to boltonjer)After multiple phone calls and emails to tech support about this issue I was hoping that this would solve the issue for me. I've tried command line fixes a few times now and like the others this one doesn't fix the issue for me.
Still get:
There was an error installing this update. Please quit and try again later. Error Code: U44M1I210
I can install applications but can't update them (OSX 10.9). I guess I could delete and install each time there is an update, but major PITA.
Unfortunately calling Adobe tech support is a very frustrating experience. I've had dropped calls, had to repeat my information every time (spelling out each letter of my email address with a word) and finally get offered the same solution that doesn't work.

boltonjer Nov 20, 2013 8:05 AM (in response to liamcampbell)This is a solution that predates the Creative Cloud Launcher (ie. back in the App Manager days) and was done in Snow Leopard. It would need to be readjusted for CC and Mountain Lion / Mavericks.

liamcampbell Nov 20, 2013 4:28 PM (in response to boltonjer)Turns out I jumped the gun and this didn't fix my issue, just delayed the error message. I am able to delete/uninstall apps either directly or with the Adobe Clean Up tool then reinstall them via the CC app, but they reinstall without successfully applying any updates.
All the other possible solutions Adobe have provided haven't worked to date, including command line fixes for permissions, deleting old Adobe App Manager etc.

Jeff A Wright Dec 1, 2014 7:46 AM (in response to simymonnaxx)Simnymonnaxx if the solution from this older discussion is not resolving your issue then I would recommend creating a new discussion with the specific errors you are facing. The U44M1I210 error indicates a failure to extract the downloaded ZIP/DMG.

Jeff A Wright Dec 1, 2014 7:53 AM (in response to Jeff A Wright)I would also recommend review Error U44M1I210 | Install updates which discusses locating the installation logs for the update to locate the exact error preventing the update.

Chelfyn Baxter Dec 7, 2014 2:01 PM (in response to boltonjer)This is what worked for me:
to fix this (on a PC)
1: open up the Creative Cloud control panel, and quit out.
2: Navigate to C:\Users\YOUR_USERNAME\AppData\Local\Adobe\AAMUpdater
3: Delete (or rename) the directory named "1.0"
4: restart Creative Cloud
5: Got to the App manager and update
