What OS are you using? On my computer - Windows 7, I could find Wingdings and am able to embed the font.
Can you see the font in other applications?
it is on an imac snowleopard os. the font is available in other applications
Was this issue resolved? I was able to embed those fonts on my Mac, but I am still using Mac OS 10.7.5 (whatever animal that was, I can't keep them straight).
no not yet, i see the the fonts in the other applications like te creative suite 5.5 but when i use the option insert media font the fontlist is not complete,
i can not see windings3 it goes only to the end of letter T
Oh! Well, that's distressing. We've seen that issue before, but I thought they had resolved that. Well, you could always try embedding the font using Lingo. Type the following two commands into the Message window:
myNewFontMember = new(#font)
put recordFont(myNewFontMember, "Wingdings 2")
Make sure you get a "0" returned from the second statement to indicate success.
Then, when you want to actually use that font, say in a text member, you can just type that new font name into the font field, rather than using the drop-down selector (or use Lingo again to set the text member's font). Of course, then you're going to experience all the other embedded-font fun you can see in other message board entries. (I think they seem to work better with "text" members than with "field" members.)
Thanks this will work for now. Maybe adobe will solve this issue.
The font is not available in the dcr files wich was created.
Did i do something wrong?
